Speaking at an event with journalists on Friday, B3’s CFO André Milanez stated that the exchange aims to introduce cryptocurrency derivatives before the end of the year.
Additionally, B3 President Gilson Finkelsztain revealed that Bitcoin options are also under consideration as part of the company’s broader strategy to diversify its digital asset offerings.
Stock exchange B3 has been actively integrating cryptocurrency products into its portfolio. Congresswoman Adriana Ventura, who introduced the proposal, believes this move could strengthen Brazil’s position as a crypto-friendly jurisdiction.
