The latest Strategy Bitcoin investment marks a continuation of the company’s long-term strategy of increasing its Bitcoin exposure. Prior to its recent rebranding, Strategy had temporarily paused its aggressive buying streak, which previously included acquisitions exceeding $1 billion.

Funding for this latest purchase came from two key transactions. The company raised approximately $179 million through the sale of 516,413 convertible bonds. Additionally, it secured about $563.4 million by offering 7.3 million Class A common shares at an 8% premium. As of February 10, Strategy still had $4.17 billion in convertible bonds available for future issuance.

Last month, the firm acquired Bitcoin worth $1.1 billion, further solidifying its position as the largest corporate holder of the cryptocurrency. As of February 10, Strategy’s Bitcoin yield stood at 4.1%.

The latest acquisition comes as Bitcoin trades around $97,200, reflecting a 3% recovery over the past week after experiencing pressure from trade policies introduced by the Trump administration.
