According to on-chain data, World Liberty Financial acquired up to $112.8 million worth of cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), Aave (AAVE), TRON (TRX), and ENA tokens. The purchases, which occurred within hours, are reportedly linked to the number 47 in celebration of Donald Trump becoming the 47th U.S. President.
The Trump family has publicly supported World Liberty Financial on social media, with Donald Trump taking on the title of “Chief Crypto Advocate.” His sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., have been named “Web3 Ambassadors,” while Barron Trump is designated as “DeFi Visionary.”
In addition to the Trump family’s involvement, TRON DAO, led by cryptocurrency entrepreneur Justin Sun, has also invested heavily in WLFI. The DAO invested $15 million to acquire 1 billion WLFI tokens, increasing its total holdings to 3 billion tokens, worth around $45 million.
